Job Title: Chef
As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters creativity and passion for cooking.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced cook with the ability to manage large amounts of children in their care, ensuring high standards of nutrition and education are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare nutritious meals for young children.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen at all times.
* Conduct weekly stocktakes and ordering as required.
* Collaborate with educators to ensure seamless mealtime experiences.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
* A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required).
* Cert II/III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent experience.
