Description
We are looking for a talented Store person to join our team at our Tamworth Branch on a permanent full time basis.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maximize space and efficiency.
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and stock reconciliation activities.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following 5S and housekeeping standards.
* Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and reporting of hazards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse operations are a plus.
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks); valid forklift license may be required.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Full Time 38 Hour Week
Rotating Roster for Saturday work 4 hour shift
