We’re searching for a creative, passionate, and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen and bring GiGi’s Diner to life. This is your chance to shape the menu, build your team, and put your signature on a brand-new venue.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
Creativity and flair – someone who loves reinventing diner classics with a contemporary edge
Strong leadership and people skills – a team builder who leads by example
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and rostering
Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
A positive, can-do attitude and the drive to make GiGi’s a must-visit Hobart destination
Responsibilities
Lead the kitchen operations of GiGi’s Diner
Shape the menu and maintain a consistent, high-quality offering
Build and mentor a kitchen team; plan rosters and manage performance
Oversee cost control, inventory, and food safety standards
Qualifications
Proven Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and rostering
Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
