Job Description
About the Role:
As a Speech Pathologist with Down South Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You'll work closely with children, adults, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Your role will involve developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to community outreach initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Work from our Rockingham office, schools and the community, supporting children, teenagers, and adults
* Provide 1:1 and group therapy, collaborating with teachers and families
* Develop and deliver individualised therapy plans in a transdisciplinary team
* Work within location-based schedules to limit travel and maximise client impact
* Option to add community-based clients to expand your clinical interests
* Take part in weekly supervision and mentoring to grow in your role
* Contribute to projects, team learning, and innovation in your area of interest
Desired Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For:
* Passionate about helping clients reach their full potential through engaging therapy
* Experience in client-centred and family-centred practice
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* High communication skills - advocacy, mediation, and collaboration
You'll Need:
* Degree in Speech Pathology & current SPA registration
* WWC Check + NDIS Worker Screening + National Police Check
* Valid Driver's Licence - mobile service means we come to our clients
