About the role
This is an exciting temporary opportunity for a senior leader to contribute to the future direction of the Family Law Division. As Deputy Director, you will assist the Executive Director in managing the delivery of family law services to ensure consistent statewide practice requirements, in relation to both family law and care and protection work, in line with the priorities and objectives established in the strategic plan and the Family Law Division's strategic objectives.
About you
You are an experienced leader and family lawyer with a strong track record in the planning, implementation, and review of legal services for people and communities experiencing disadvantage. You are accustomed to managing a large workload, diverse functions and teams in a complex operating environment, while ensuring the highest standards in client service delivery and practice management. You are collaborative, innovative, and strategic with demonstrated experience in establishing cooperative arrangements with internal and external stakeholders. You are committed to the development and wellbeing of individuals and teams.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
* Be admitted or be eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW
* Be able to provide a current NSW Practising Certificate before you start work with us
* Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
* hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
