Support Worker
As a Support Worker with our team, you will be working directly with customers in their homes, providing person-centred care and support. This role involves travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
