Project Engineer Job Description
Support Major Subdivision and Infrastructure Projects
In this key role, you'll support the delivery of major subdivision and infrastructure projects in the Northern Territory. You'll work closely with crews and stakeholders to keep things running smoothly, helping shape the Territory with smart engineering and solid teamwork.
* Assist project managers in planning, scheduling and coordinating site works.
* Monitor construction progress, productivity and subcontractor performance.
* Prepare and review project documentation including inspection test plans, QA records and as-builds.
* Manage procurement of materials and services to meet program timelines.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
* Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate progress reporting.
* Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
* Track costs, variations and assist with forecasting and progress claims.
* Support continual improvement and mentor graduate engineers or site staff.
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in civil construction or infrastructure works, a sound understanding of quality assurance processes and WHS compliance, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
