Chef (Casual) – Holland Park Hotel
We are looking for a trade‐qualified Chef to join our fast‐paced kitchen team in a local landmark. You will help us deliver high‐quality bistro favourites in a high‐volume environment, so efficiency, reliability and consistent food standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high‐quality dishes that "WOW" our guests
* Contribute positively to our culture centred on safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
* Maintain a consistent standard of high‐quality and well‐presented dishes that align with the ALH standard
Day In The Life
* Work a rotating roster that includes days, nights, weekends and public holidays
* Ready to jump onto a busy line at a thriving suburban pub
About You
* Great experience working in a fast‐paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
* Understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
* Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
* Authentic and supportive of our people‐centric culture
Inherent Requirements
* Hands‐on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs and deliveries). You must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
