General Commercial/Estates Lawyer
About the Role
RKL Lawyers & Consultants is seeking a motivated and personable commercial and estates lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' post‐admission experience to join our boutique practice in Elsternwick.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to broaden their experience across a diverse range of matters while working closely with clients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers hands‐on responsibility, autonomy over files and exposure to commercial, property, wills and estates, and general practice matters.

Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review and advise on commercial and retail leases, including negotiations, renewals and variations
* Assist with business sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements and other commercial transactions
* Prepare wills, powers of attorney and estate planning documents
* Assist with estate administration and probate matters
* Work on general commercial disputes, debt recovery and litigation matters
* Maintain carriage of files from commencement through to completion
* Liaise effectively with clients, agents, barristers and other stakeholders
* Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years post‐admission experience in commercial and/or estates law
* Experience in wills and estates, conveyancing and litigation matters will be highly regarded
* Strong drafting, file management and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‐solving
