Job Summary
This role involves working with a diverse population, including providing support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families. You will be required to complete a range of assessments, provide psychological intervention and therapy services, and work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
* Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
* Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
* Experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, out-of-home care and/or other relevant sectors;
* Experience or interest working with individuals who have had contact with the juvenile justice or criminal justice system is desirable.
You will also need to meet the following requirements:
* Have a current Driver's Licence;
* Have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks;
* Be willing to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.
