This is an opportunity to build on your generalist HR experience and play an important role in transforming our service delivery model. The role will focus on supporting people managers on the more pressing needs and day-to-day people leader responsibilities, while also providing assistance to the HR Business Partners and Business People Plan priorities.
**About the role**
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Developing leadership skills in people managers to raise the level of competency and capability in managing staff.
- Providing coaching and advisory support for employee grievances, performance issues and investigations through to resolution.
- With oversight from the relevant HR Business Partner, participate and contribute to the delivery of priorities in the People and Culture/Business People Plans, as required.
- Delivering a high quality, consistent customer service experience through the effective evaluation and closure of HR related enquiries, in line with the tiered service delivery model.
- Efficiently and accurately capture incoming enquires and provide seamless escalation of complex queries to HR's functional specialists and Business Partners for further support/resolution, as required.
- Ensure effective administration of the full spectrum of HR's employee benefits, programs, policies and procedures, with a cost aware approach.
- Utilising insights from the various HR systems, processes, and data channels, identify opportunities to optimise the employee experience (EX) for improved efficiency and decision making, and drive learning and knowledge sharing across HR and business teams.
- Providing super user coverage for SuccessFactors, as required.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, your experience is likely to include:
- Successful track record in a HR generalist role, supporting a variety of corporate and operational workforces.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant ER legislation, performance and grievance handling processes and experience in coaching and advising people managers and employees.
- Experience in asking challenging and critical questions, analysing data and situations in order to provide advice to drive effective solutions that support business requirements.
- Ability to influence and build collaborative relations with key stakeholders, including varied levels of seniority.
- Currently hold or working towards tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Proficient in MS Office and the use of HR/business systems.
