Your new companyYou’ll be joining a specialised infrastructure contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high quality metalwork and structural installations across critical utility sites. They support major power and infrastructure providers, completing technically detailed work in live and offline substation environments.
Your new roleYou’ll be responsible for installing timber frames, louvres, enclosures and associated substation infrastructure. You’ll work closely with site supervisors and fabrication teams to complete precise installation work, often integrating pre-fabricated components. The role involves reading technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, safely operating tools, and ensuring all installations meet strict compliance and safety standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Trade qualification in Carpentry
* Experience installing frames, louvres, cladding or similar structural components
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong focus on accuracy and safe work practices
* Experience in substations or utilities (highly regarded)
