Job Description
The Australian Energy Regulator requires experienced PowerApps Portal Developers for a four-month contract. The selected candidates will lead specialized data transformation projects under the supervision of the IT & Data Governance Team and work closely with key stakeholders.
The primary tasks include developing new business applications within the existing Power Portal Framework, including web-forms, file upload controls, and integration with WebAPI and external document management system. This enables streamlining the process of submission and storage of energy market datasets to the AER.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop high-level application design documentation, including information architecture.
2. Implement workflows, write plugins, and support the development and maintenance of the underlying architecture.
3. Automate business processes of workflows to facilitate analysis by subject matter experts and increase efficiencies for AER staff.
The broader framework supports the AER's data strategy and provides a consultation prototype for the Chief Data Strategist as we move to implement changes in data governance and reporting.
