Wedding & Event Coordinator | The Ville Precinct
Play a key role in booking and coordinating weddings, events, and various functions for our valued clients. You will have the opportunity to maximize profitability by promoting our facilities and services, achieving annual targets, and fostering repeat business.
This role is a temporary maternity leave replacement for a period of up to 12 months.
The Role
As the Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all weddings on the property and supporting other events as required. This includes responding promptly to enquiries, securing bookings, preparing agreements and invoices, and ensuring timely payments. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, assist with menu selections, and confirm final details. Key tasks include creating and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floorplans, liaising with internal teams and external suppliers for accommodation, security, and risk assessments, and attending pre- and post-event meetings to guarantee seamless execution.
About You
* Experience in Wedding and/or Event Coordination in a similar environment required.
* Tertiary education in event coordination or management highly desirable.
* Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Consistent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with a property management system, in particular Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
