Senior Geotechnical Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in North Queensland, based in either Townsville or Cairns. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major Transport, Water, and Power projects while fostering a culture of inclusivity and care.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing and assessing soil and rock properties to determine their behaviour under various conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing foundations for structures, evaluating slope stability, and providing solutions for complex ground-related challenges. You'll be involved in all stages of projects, from initial site investigations to final design and construction support.
* Conduct field investigations
* Interpret geotechnical data
* Perform advanced soil and rock mechanics analyses
* Develop detailed design recommendations
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, such as highways, bridges, slope assessments, deep excavations, retaining structures, and ground improvement techniques.
