Job Description
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to payables and receivables.
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial transactions.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients to address payment-related queries.
- Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager should have:
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable teams is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Business Central desirable) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the Retail industry.
