About the role
We have a great opportunity in our Marketing & BD team for a full time Marketing & BD Manager based in Melbourne. This is a hands-on generalist Marketing & BD role, with ever changing variety across the full spectrum of marketing, communications and business development activities and projects focussed on our Melbourne commercial, insurance and government practices. We are looking for motivated, organised and energetic person to plan and deliver client-facing marketing campaigns, communications initiatives and targeted pursuits to grow our firm’s brand in the Victorian market and nationally, support firm revenue growth, and guide proactive client relationship management.
You will have a varied and interesting workload for our Melbourne practice as a member of the national Marketing & BD team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning, coordinating and executing a range of marketing activities and campaigns across our three strategic legal pillars (Commercial, Insurance, Government) and key sectors, aligning to national and local strategies
2. Internal and external communications, including managing internal reports, external market-facing publications, legal directory submissions, and creating/updating content on the firm’s intranet, website and social media
3. Drafting and coordinating bids (tenders, proposals) and capability statements (in conjunction with our Bids & Tenders Manager), as well as team profiles, reporting, and assisting on ad-hoc tasks as required
