* This is a hybrid position based in Canberra, with the option to work flexibly with reduced hours.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in the Tax team, you will be responsible for delivering tax compliance services to clients, including preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations, financial statements, tax planning, employment taxes, and advisory services.
* You will work across a range of diverse clients and entity types, including trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals.
* Assist in the delivery of the full spectrum of taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
* Be a point of contact for our clients, requiring collaboration with our specialist teams to bring expertise to our clients.
* Supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.
* CA qualification (or on the path to completing CA or an equivalent qualification).
* Minimum 3+ years experience providing Australian tax compliance or business advisory services to corporate entities, high-net-worth individuals, and private family groups.
