About Our Client
Our client is an end‑to‑end supplier of Engineering, Surveying and Geotechnical services to the building and land development industries. Founded in Victoria in 2003, they have grown rapidly into a large‑sized engineering consultancy, employing over 300 people across Australia.
About The Role
They have an established Civil Land team which services their growing client list of leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects to provide optimal engineer solutions for each project. And due to sustained growth and upcoming work already secured, we are working on their behalf to recruit a Civil Design Engineer to join their team of talented Civil Engineers. The role will be based at their office in Dulwich, SA.
Your Role
* Civil engineering design for projects in land development, subdivision and utility services
* Some residential projects for vehicular access and stormwater
* Interaction with clients, builders, architects, council and other authorities
Eligibility
* A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Engineering – Civil
* 2+ years of professional experience for Civil engineering projects in with at least 2 years in Australia
* A minimum of 2 years in a civil design role
* Experience in 12D. Road geometry (vertical and horizontal alignments)
* Stormwater drainage design with Drains software
* Water and Waste Water (sewer) reticulation design experience for SA Water would be highly desirable
* NBN design experience would be desirable
* Hands‑on knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads and other relevant authority standards for road and drainage design
* Understanding of land development/subdivision concepts and the associated requirements
* Understanding of WSUD requirements
* The role will require you to work as part of a team
