About Your New Role
This is a senior, hands-on Finance Systems role sitting at the centre of Finance, Technology, and PMO.
You'll act as Finance's system-side authority, leading Finance input into ERP and finance technology implementations from requirements definition and design through to configuration, testing, go-live, and transition into BAU.
This role is not a project manager and not a BAU support role. It is 100% focused on implementations, optimisation, and sustainable system outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Finance design authority for ERP and finance technology solutions
* Define Finance system, data, reporting, and control requirements across the Group
* Lead Finance input into ERP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
* Be hands-on with system configuration and setup
* Represent Finance in design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture discussions
* Lead Finance-side UAT, data migration validation, and go-live readiness
* Ensure systems support accounting standards, controls, auditability, and end-to-end processes
* Drive system optimisation to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and strengthen controls
* Act as the key Finance liaison with Technology, PMO, vendors, and senior stakeholders
* Support change, adoption, and capability uplift across Finance
About You
* Experience in Finance transformation or complex, multi-entity environments
* Strong experience with ERP and finance system implementations
* Strong accounting background with a deep understanding of financial reporting and controls
* Comfortable challenging legacy processes and unnecessary customisation
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and commercially minded
