About the role
Here at The Big Goose we are seeking a Café Manager to take full ownership of our front-of-house operations, lead a passionate team, and drive the growth and innovation of our venue.
As Café Manager, you'll be the key person behind the guest experience, the FOH team, party coordinator and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You'll also work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to deliver growth, manage budgets, and plan events.
This is a Full-Time position – Wednesday to Sunday 9am – 5pm.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and oversee all aspects of venue operation, including staffing, inventory, and financial management.
* Work in the cafe with a great team.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
* Foster a positive and productive work environment for the team.
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of successfully managing a busy hospitality venue
* Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in hospitality or retail operations
* Minimum 1-2 years of barista experience
* Food handling experience preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
