What You'll Be Doing

The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant (CNC/CMC) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty. The role provides a consultancy and educational focus forward based nurses in the care of children and their families. In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC/CMC will undertake primary responsibility for on‑going education, development and evaluation of clinical practice.


About You

>Has current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a minimum of 5 years full time post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
* Has relevant approved post registration qualification in field of practice at Master's level or working towards or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
* Demonstrates skills in strategic and clinical service planning and including an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural changes processes.
