Falcon Engineering 95 is a privately owned West Australian business that has been servicing the Power Distribution industry for over 65 years. We are a producer of engineered components primarily for use by utility companies within Australia.
Falcon Engineering are restructuring and are currently seeking a Draftsman/Automation Technician in a full time capacity at our modern workshop in Bibra Lake. This position is available for immediate start.

Specific Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Carry out drafting and design activities using Solidworks Software
* Generate G Code Programs using Solid CAM software
* Trade Qualified Fitter/Machinist or other Fabrication Trade
* Learning how to use the TOGAL.AI or similar 'material take off' system and being able to provide accurate 'take off' data for Office Coordinator to be able to quote
* Program and over see Falcon Engineering's robotic and automation systems
* Setting up and maintaining work instructions for Falcon Engineering's robotic and automation systems
* Assist to design any tooling/fixtures required for press work, automation, welding, drilling and plasma cutting
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in drafting and basic design
* Solidworks experience
* Solid CAM experience
* Automation Experience
* Trade Qualified Fitter/Machinist or other Fabrication Trade
* Ability to read & interpret comprehensive engineering drawings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently with little supervision.
* C Class Drivers License.
* An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Pass a DAS & pre employment medical
