Senior UX Designer
Senior UX Designer – Host/Havas
As a Senior UX Designer for Host/Havas, you will be integral in delivering purposeful experiences through creative advertising campaigns for our clients.
We deliver value to our clients, and their customers, across their entire end-to-end experience. Thus, your role is to be the conduit between the business and customer to deliver purposeful experiences that have mutually valuable outcomes.
As our next Senior UX Designer, you will be a hybrid thinker who is equal parts strategist, designer and technologist, with a passion for solving problems in collaborative environments. You will help develop world-class solutions for clients across all aspects of their businesses. This could include service model design, digital or physical product design, platform re-development, launching a start-up, or any other facet where the brand can play a role in better serving customers.
When working on projects you will collaborate with other team members, departments and clients to assist in defining project approaches and ways of working. This includes building an understanding on how solutions deliver value for the business and the customer.
You will be comfortable in assisting in the design and running of workshops (both face-to-face and remote) using tools such as Miro.
You will have experience in research and insight development, designing and facilitating qualitative and quantitative research such as surveys, contextual enquiries, interviews and field studies to build a deep understanding of audiences, as well as performing desktop research to understand business categories and emerging trends.
You’ll interpret owned and third-party data and you’ll be proficient in developing personas and journey maps that represent the needs, frustrations and motivators of customers. To do this you’ll be proficient in using tools such as Google Forms, Optimal Sort, Survey Monkey, Excel and Word.
You will design prototypes using tools such as Axure, Sketch and Invision, or Figma and run user testing, sometimes in collaboration with other departments and tech partners. This includes delivering outputs that clearly communicate content and functionality for the visual design, content and development teams.
Finally, you’ll do all of this whilst communicating regularly with your project team, helping to estimate the time needed to achieve the desired outcomes and outputs, and doing your best to stick to that plan.
