Behavioural Support Role
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member, you will work closely with our participants and their families to deliver high-quality support services.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity that offers flexibility in scheduling. You will be responsible for assisting participants, developing support plans, and working collaboratively with the team.
* Assist participants and their families in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
* Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support spaces.
* Develop meaningful goals and strategies using positive behaviour support frameworks.
* Build knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be considered suitable, you will have:
* Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Practitioners.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and learning from new ideas.
* Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
