**About the Role**
Autism Queensland's P-12 independent school based at Brighton is seeking experienced Primary School Teachers to join our leading inter-disciplinary team of specialist teachers and allied health professionals and provide quality professional education and early intervention services to students on the autism spectrum, with a focus on educational outcomes.
We have a permanent full time role currently commencing as soon as possible.
**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Education and/or Special Education
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Demonstrated experience with school aged children on the autism spectrum and/or with special needs
- Demonstrated understanding of current principles and practices for supporting students with diverse learning needs across a range of environments
**Highly-regarded**
- Post-graduate qualifications in Special Education
- Experience with supporting students who exhibit behaviours of concern
**Special Conditions & Requirements**
- Evidence of current Covid-19 Vaccination
- Registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- Provide First Aid inc. Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate
