The Age Strong Support Volunteer Program: A Welcoming Environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet participants, fostering a sense of community.
* Collaborate with the Exercise Leader to ensure a safe and supportive exercise program.
This includes setting up equipment, handling payments, and providing assistance during classes.
Classes last approximately 45-50 minutes and focus on strengthening major muscle groups using dumbbells, ankle weights, and therabands.
The program is specifically designed for older adults who require a more accessible and confidence-boosting environment.
