Responsibilities
* MIG & Flux Core welding on heavy structural steel
* Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specs
* Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
* Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to pass a practical Weld Test
* Solid background in heavy fabrication and MIG/Flux Core
* A safety-first mindset in workshop environment
* Right to work in Australia and eligibility to obtain and maintain NSSIC and ITAR clearances
Benefits
* The perks: $83+ per hour (inc. 25% casual loading + 30% shift loading) + overtime
* Every second Friday off (9-day fortnight)
* Afternoons available now: 4:00pm – 12:30am (with every 2nd Friday being 5:30pm – 12:00am)
