Career Links works closely with Schools, Industry and the Community, to deliver a service to the Youth of our region.
The Position
The Work Placement Team coordinate mandatory work placements for students completing Vocational Education & Training (VET) subjects in Years 10, 11 and 12.
Utilising our CRM and by approaching employers directly you will source employers with the capacity to host students, your main contacts are Teachers and Employers.
Key Functions of the role
Source and induct appropriate host employers.
Liaise between schools and employers to secure work placement.
Deliver work placement information sessions to students.
Complete all reporting and data entry requirements as required by the contractual arrangements.
Essential Criteria:
Developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated customer service and networking skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to work 30-35 hours across Monday to Friday
Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to work in a team and contribute to every team member successfully meeting KPIs.
Willingness to undergo working with children's and police checks.
Current Driver's License and own car
Desirable Criteria
Experience in working with senior schools and students.
Knowledge of the VET in schools program
Experience in career counselling
Flexible in working across industry sectors
