As Assistant Buyer you will assist our Buying Tribe by being our reporting guru You will ensure the accurate and timely placing of production orders; adherence to the critical path and ensure the overall production process runs smoothly.

How will you colour the world as our new Assistant Buyer
* Maintain all information relating to drop schedules and stock deliveries for National and International
* Raise and manage purchase orders
* Liaise with wholesale to ensure orders are handed over within deadline
* You will be all over the Critical Path and will communicate any changes flagging potential delays to appropriate team members or suppliers to minimise disruption
* Manage samples ensuring they are on time and ready for ranging
* Accuracy is key in this role - you will ensure that all data entered is accurate and current
* Work closely with our Garment Technicians on any quality and delivery issues
* Be an absolute gun at liaising and negotiating with suppliers on critical path follow through and pricing

What qualities are we searching for?
* Excellent communication skills – able to communicate with offshore suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Attention to detail must be on point.
* Advanced Excel skills are a must
* Knowledge of fabric, components, construction and manufacturing of apparel, and swimwear desirable
* Knowledge of specs and grading
* Ideally 2 years in a similar role in a buying role
* Relevant Degree Qualification
