We are looking for a Store Manager to join us at our Platypus store in Pakenham.
This role involves leading, inspiring, and coaching a team of passionate casuals, including support from your Assistant Store Manager. You will drive sales and KPIs, enhance customer engagement, and develop your team members. Collaborating with your Area Manager, you will identify opportunities for growth within your store and team in a high-profile space.
The role & responsibilities:
1. Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
2. Motivate your team to meet KPI and added value targets.
3. Monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, recognizing outstanding results and addressing missed opportunities.
4. Manage wage costs effectively, adhering to weekly wage targets and rostering standards.
5. Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning.
6. Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and best practices.

To be successful, you will have:
1. At least 1+ years of retail store management experience in a fast-paced environment.
2. A motivated and driven ‘Make it Happen’ attitude.
3. A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
4. Strategic thinking skills to identify missed opportunities and proven success in driving sales and KPIs.
5. Operational excellence in stock control and visual merchandising.
6. Experience managing rosters and wage control.
