Project Manager – Commercial Construction
MYNT Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly regarded, design‐led commercial construction company based in Perth. Known for delivering award‐winning fit‐outs and complex commercial builds across sectors such as hospitality, retail, workplace and lifestyle environments.
With a strong pipeline of high‐profile projects and continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team.
Your Role
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of projects from pre‐construction through to completion, ensuring each build is delivered on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard. Working closely with directors, clients, consultants and site teams, you will:
* Manage end‐to‐end delivery of a variety of commercial construction projects, up to $35m.
* Coordinate project programming, procurement and resource planning.
* Oversee contract administration, including head contracts, subcontracts, variations and claims.
* Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
* Liaise directly with clients, architects and consultants, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project financials, track costs and drive value engineering where required.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant WA regulations, codes and safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction, ideally across construction, fit‐out and/or refurbishment projects.
* Proven experience delivering projects in sectors such as education, hospitality, retail, workplace or lifestyle environments.
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
* Strong knowledge of WA construction regulations, contracts and project delivery methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
* Excellent leadership, communication and problem‐solving skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and cost control.
* Proficiency in construction management software and/or Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Project).
