Audley Dance Hall is a heritage-listed venue located in the Royal National Park, famed for its stunning riverside setting and timeless appeal.
We specialise in bespoke weddings, wakes, private dining, business events, long lunches, and large-scale celebrations that are thoughtful, elegant, and deeply memorable.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, driven and hands on Events Coordinator to join our dynamic events team across both venues. This role is ideal for a natural communicator and organiser who thrives in both the beauty of nature and the vibrancy of artistic spaces.
You will assist to grow our events portfolio, from initial enquiry through to flawless execution. Your work will directly shape unforgettable weddings, sophisticated wakes, vibrant private parties, and inspiring business gatherings.

Sales & Business Development
* Drive and convert event enquiries into confirmed bookings across Hazel and Audley
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and collaborators
* Identify and pursue new market opportunities, event concepts and partnerships
* Represent the venues at wedding fairs, industry events and promotional activities
Event Coordination & Management
* Oversee planning and coordination of all event types including weddings, wakes, private dining and corporate functions
* Deliver seamless client experiences from initial inspection to post-event follow-up
* Liaise with events, kitchen, bar and operations teams to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
* Manage logistics, timelines, floor plans, and run sheets
Team Leadership
* Lead, train and inspire the events and front-of-house teams
* Assign roles and responsibilities for each event
* Ensure a high-performance, collaborative and solutions-oriented team culture
Marketing & Creative Direction
* Contribute to the design and development of event packages, menus, and promotional materials
* Collaborate with the marketing team on editorial content, newsletters, website updates and social campaigns
* Innovate new event formats (e.g., classical dinners, hens brunches, holistic mornings, gallery pop-ups)
Venue Presentation & Client Experience
* Ensure both venues are presented at the highest standard for inspections and events
* Uphold the tone and aesthetic of each brand across all client touchpoints
* Act as the face of the venue on event days, ensuring everything runs to plan
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in event sales and management within hospitality or events industries (weddings experience highly desirable)
* Hands on delivering awesome events
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Creative flair and an eye for design, layout, and guest experience
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Tech savvy (experience with CRM systems like Keap, Canva, Google Workspace)
* Ability to work across multiple projects and sites with a calm, solutions-focused mindset
