Property Managers (part time or full time) are wanted for our expanding rent roll in 2026 with Coast2Bay Housing Group's wholly owned Real Estate business, Purpose Real Estate.
The job is an interesting and varied role for the right person, tailored to your strengths in property management and our business needs. Hours are negotiable from part time to full time for the best candidate who fits our team culture, vision and for-purpose philosophy where profit is used for charitable projects and causes.
The ideal candidate may be either a:
* Seasoned professional seeking reduced hours and better work-life balance
* Experienced worker with transferable skills looking for a change into a purpose driven environment (with training for real estate certificate considered) or
* Parent seeking school-hours-only work and a return to property management
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the growth of our portfolio including new Affordable Housing project
• Routine inspections 1-2 days per week, entry and exit inspections as required
• Property management all-rounder: leases, letting, maintenance, record keeping
• Effective and professional communication with tenants and landlords
• Participate in quality assurance on processes, and contribute to system improvement
• Collaborate on new marketing initiatives (2026 brand refresh and 10 year anniversary will see a host of activities, new look, and stakeholder engagement)
What You'll Bring
• Prior 1-2 years minimum in a real estate or similar property/asset management role is ideal. Current Real Estate License or willing to obtain. We will consider training someone with a transferable skills from trades, property or people focused background who shows an aptitude for property management.
• Tech savvy to use industry software and devices. Prior experience in Console Cloud, Reapit Lettings, Bricks and Agent or similar, is advantageous.
• Excellent people skills to enable property goals, along with attention to detail and effective time management
• Reliability, professionalism, and a proactive work ethic
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and support the team
