Step Into Your Next Chapter
In this role, you will support our teaching principal and students in creating an inclusive learning environment through assisting in classroom activities and providing individualised support to students. Support will also be provided by delivering lessons to small groups of students as well as undertaking playground and bus supervision.
Position 1: 6 hours every Friday (before/after school supervision, lunch duties, supporting teaching principal, taking small groups, one on one, supporting HPE teacher to deliver curriculum).
Position 2: 14.5 hours per week Monday to Friday mornings (before school supervision, bus/lunch duties, literacy, numeracy, reading intervention).
Responsibilities Include
* Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
* Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
* Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
* Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
* Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
