About the Role
Zaki Property Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee compliance, maintenance, major works and landlord relationships across a diverse commercial portfolio, including early learning centres operated by Little Zak's Academy.
This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded property professional who is comfortable managing multiple sites, contractors and compliance requirements in an operational environment.
The role includes an on-call component, requiring availability after hours and on weekends to respond to urgent property matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a multi-site commercial property portfolio across NSW
* Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including annual fire safety statements
* Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, preventative schedules and major works
* Participate in the after-hours and weekend on-call roster for urgent property issues
* Manage and coordinate trade contractors and service providers
* Oversee vehicle and bus maintenance, registrations and servicing schedules
* Conduct routine property inspections and document findings and actions
* Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and key stakeholders
* Coordinate approvals, reporting and communication relating to maintenance and capital works
* Maintain accurate records, asset registers and compliance documentation
About You
You are a proactive, commercially focused property manager who values compliance, organisation and strong stakeholder relationships.
You will bring
* Proven experience in commercial property or facilities management
* Strong knowledge of compliance, fire safety and maintenance planning
* Experience managing contractors, trades and major works
* Availability to participate in an after-hours and weekend on-call roster
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail with excellent time management
* Ability to manage competing priorities and respond under pressure
* Sound understanding of budgets, cost control and reporting
* Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
Vehicle & On-Call Requirements
* Regular travel between sites is required
* Candidates must use their own vehicle
* All approved vehicle operational and maintenance expenses will be reimbursed
* On-call responsibilities form part of this role
