What will you do?
* Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to Varsity quality standards.
* Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
* Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen that adheres to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines, ensuring staff follow kitchen cleaning systems.
* Participate in all technical aspects of cooking including but not limited to grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.
* Work across all stations in the kitchen including prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad stations.
* Ensure dietary requirements are catered for in a safe manner.
* Support with stock rotation, making sure our ingredients are as fresh as can be for our guests.
* Deliver food and service to Varsity standards.
* Support the training of the kitchen team.
* Bring a passion for food and a positive attitude to every shift.
What Will You Bring?
* Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred
* Infectious enthusiasm and positivity.
* A love of good food and good times.
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.
