Centacare North Queensland is seeking a senior leader to step into a high-impact Remote Operations Manager position, based in Mount Isa.
Overseeing a diverse portfolio of community services across North West Queensland, you will play a critical role in shaping outcomes for families, children and vulnerable communities — while leading teams and driving service delivery across a complex regional footprint.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a range of programs, including homelessness services, Communities for Children, HIPPY, youth programs and community services.
You will:
Lead and support managers and multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites
Oversee program performance, service delivery and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with funding, governance and organisational requirements
Provide high-level advice to the Executive Director
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, funders and the community
What We Offer
Total remuneration package up to $160,000 (including salary packaging)
Salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,650 entertainment allowance
5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading

Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology or related field
Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in community or human services
Experience managing programs and multidisciplinary teams
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage complex service delivery and operational requirements
Current driver licence
Eligibility to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
