Description:
The San Telmo Group was founded in 2011 with the opening of San Telmo in Melbourne, born from a desire to bring the authenticity and spirit of Argentine parrilla to Australia. What began as a single restaurant centred on fire, smoke, and bold flavours has since grown into a diverse hospitality group, encompassing San Telmo, Palermo, Asado, Pastuso and Robata. While each venue reflects its own cultural identity and cuisine, they are united by a shared respect for tradition, quality Australian produce, and the elemental craft of cooking over charcoal.
As the San Telmo Group expands, we're seeking Restaurant Supervisors across our venues to support FOH operations and leadership.
In this full time opportunity, your day-to-day will involve:
* Leading service on the floor and supervising FOH teams during shifts
* Recruiting, coaching and developing staff to uphold service & cultural standards
* Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members
* Maintaining strong product knowledge and delivering standout guest experiences, thus acting as a role model for your team
* Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally, thus acting as a point of escalation for junior staff
* Taking responsibility for opening, closing, and all other daily operations of your restaurant
* Leading by example in professionalism, teamwork and safety
Skills and Experiences:
Before applying, carefully consider the following questions:
Are you an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident?
Are you available to consistently work full time hours (38–42 per week)?
Do you have at least 1–2 years' experience in a premium, fast-paced restaurant environment?
Do you have experience with training FOH team members on sales techniques and service procedures?
Do you naturally upsell and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences?
Are you seeking professional development within the hospitality industry?
If you can confidently answer yes to all of the above, we encourage you to apply and take the next step in your career with us.
The San Telmo Group is an equal opportunity employer and all applications are welcome.
