The Team
Our Transaction Advisory Group in Australia is comprised of former Big 4 professionals delivering top‑tier Financial Due Diligence (FDD) for private equity, infrastructure, and corporate clients. We specialise in buy‑side and sell‑side engagements, focusing on quality of earnings, cash flow analysis, working capital reviews, and key business drivers. As we continue to scale and enjoy the work we do, we’re looking for people who are keen to join and help enhance our positive culture.
How You Will Contribute
* Lead FDD projects and guide your team to assess risks, deal breakers, and business strengths, aligning findings with client investment strategies and industry benchmarks.
* Analyze financial statements to generate insights and engage with target management.
* Prepare deal‑focused reports and presentations, highlighting financial findings and their impact on valuation and agreements.
* Manage client relationships, meetings, and execution matters.
* Collaborate closely with Managing Directors to address engagement and transaction risks with creative solutions.
* Drive business development and manage engagement logistics, including billing, scope changes, and engagement letters.
* Develop the team, including involvement in recruitment.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in an FDD role, with a background in a Big 4 environment.
* CA qualification.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analytics and visualisation software such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau (preferred).
* Willingness to travel within Australia as required.
* Ability and willingness to lead teams and develop team members.
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills, with the capability of helping to build our practice.
* A drive to succeed, take initiative, and possess positive interpersonal and communication skills that fit our culture.
