Frontline Cyber Defence for SALHN: Manager Role Available As a pivotal member of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network's Digital Health team, the Cyber Security Manager will spearhead a comprehensive cyber security program, serving as the subject matter expert guiding risk assessments, threat analysis, and the implementation of robust policies and procedures. This critical leadership position will fortify SALHN's digital defenses, ensuring compliance with industry standards while proactively identifying and mitigating emerging cyber threats to safeguard patient data and uphold the network's commitment to delivering safe, high-quality healthcare. With a sharp focus on the five integrated management domains of safety, quality, delivery, people, and cost-effectiveness, the Cyber Security Manager will play a vital role in driving SALHN's strategic objectives and maintaining public trust. About the role: Reporting to the Director of Digital Health, some of your duties as the Cyber Security Manager may involve: Providing leadership in the developing and maintaining a robust cyber security governance framework and providing advice to inform strategy, standards and directions. Providing leadership on the development and implementation and development of cyber security policies. Leading security operations to detect and respond to potential threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems. About you: Tertiary qualifications in cyber security, information technology or other relevant field, and / or security accreditation. Demonstrated experience in providing positive leadership in a senior manager role in a large organisation. Demonstrated experience in cyber security management and delivery of ICT security services and functions across an organisation, including incident response, implementing innovative security solutions and controls, identifying security, operational and compliance risks, preparing risk assessments across a range of service platforms and recommending appropriate action. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cyber security strategies and policies. Demonstrated high level research, analytical skills and critical thinking with significant ability to act strategically, to analyse and conceptualise problems, formulate and execute appropriate solutions in a sound, business-like manner.
