What You'll Be Doing

You will have a portfolio which includes both field based roles such as plumbers and corporate roles such as schedulers. Most of our vacancies are based in Melbourne & Sydney currently but that may expand over time. The volume of vacancies can range between 8-16 vacancies per recruiter. As a growing business this could vary depending on the tenders we win along the way!

End-to-End Recruitment

* Run the full recruitment process: briefing, advertising, screening, interviews, offer, and onboarding handover.

* Use our ATS and systems effectively to ensure data quality and compliance.

Strategic Partnering

* Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and shape their hiring strategy.

* Coach leaders to grow their hiring confidence and capability.

* Help design and refine PDs, aligning with structure and compliance needs.

Proactive Sourcing

* Use tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Seek Talent Search to uncover great talent.

* Build and maintain talent pools for key and hard-to-fill roles.

Brand & Experience

* Be a positive ambassador for our brand.

* Ensure a great candidate experience – timely, inclusive, and human from start to finish.

Market Insight & Reporting

* Share insights on talent trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring feasibility.

* Track and report on key TA metrics, like time-to-fill and diversity.

Projects & Progress

* Get involved in TA and people-related projects: Induction, EVP, DEI, branding, process improvement, and more.

Who You Are

You're someone who loves recruitment but also wants to do more than just fill roles. You’re curious, commercial, and "give a sh*t" about doing things well — for candidates, for hiring managers, and for the business. You are not about putting bums on seats and instead work hard to mine for the best quality talent you can find even when it seems impossible. You keep going and never give up!

You will be proactive and give things a go, if you come up against problems you will think about possible solutions but if you need help or support you will put your hand up because we "play as a team" and we are all in it together!

Relationships are key in our business and you will have the ability to build trust and partnerships quickly and effectively through our values - being responsive, progressive, a team player and giving a sh*t about providing excellence in service delivery!

What You Bring:

* 3+ years’ experience within an internal TA environment managing both blue collar & corporate roles.

* Trade based recruitment background (would be awesome)

* Strong demonstrated experience of sourcing, selection, and recruitment strategy

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Confidence using ATSs and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, etc.)

* Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
