Are you a community-focused person looking to join a unique organisation with a passion for working with community to improve ear health conditions?

We are currently seeking a Community Engagement and Liaison Officer who shares our commitment to community and delivering the highest level of service to West Pilbara families as part of our highly regarded Chevron Pilbara Ear Health Program.

The Chevron Pilbara Ear Health Program provides ear health and hearing services to communities in the West Pilbara across locations including schools, day care centres, Aboriginal health agencies, and other community groups. This holistic program offers free ear health checks, education, audiology, Nurse Practitioner consultations, and appointments with ENT specialists as required.

The Community Engagement and Liaison Officer focuses on identifying, developing, and enhancing relationships with Elders, communities, and key organisations in the West Pilbara to connect with children and their families who may benefit from TSH services and programs.

The role actively participates in stakeholder and community meetings/forums, represents TSH at community and training events, and supports other team members with screening activities and quarterly ear health clinics.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and nurturing professional who aligns with our organisational values and supports our child safety practices.

Experience in community or Aboriginal Liaison roles, strong administration, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to build respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, are essential. Experience in developing or delivering community-led initiatives and events, particularly in partnership with Aboriginal communities, is highly valued.

We offer a role with purpose and a remuneration package including access to salary packaging, seven weeks annual leave, paid parental leave, an employee assistance program, and opportunities for professional growth alongside our passionate and diverse team.
