Project Manager – Civil & Landscaping

Our client is a well-established Civil & Landscaping contractor with a strong presence in both public and private sectors. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join their growing business.
This role involves challenging and varied projects in the public and private sector up to $6,000,000. Typical project values range from $500,000 to $6,000,000.
Responsibilities
* Lead programmes from initiation to completion, working with public and private sector clients
* Plan and schedule construction activities and develop construction methodologies
* Ensure quality assurance and manage cost and time
* Prepare management reports and assist with claims and dispute management when necessary
* Resolve site issues promptly
* Liaise with key clients and stakeholders
* Coordinate internal and external resources
* Recruit, mentor and manage teams
* Manage teams effectively
* Contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* 5+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5,000,000+
* Project management qualifications advantageous
* Proven understanding of construction with a hands‐on approach
* Proven ability to lead and delegate effectively
* Effective problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
* High level of organisation and time‐management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
