About the Role
St Mary’s Catholic College is seeking a dynamic, solution‑focused Business Manager to join our College Leadership Team. In this senior role, you will drive the strategic and operational management of the College’s financial, physical and administrative resources, ensuring our community continues to thrive and grow.
We are looking for a high‑performing accounting and business professional who brings strong commercial acumen, strategic insight and a collaborative leadership style. You will partner closely with the Principal to shape long‑term financial planning, strengthen governance and risk frameworks, lead key operational teams, and support major capital and master planning initiatives.
More than a finance role, this is a pivotal leadership position within a Catholic educational community. You will model integrity, compassion and professionalism, and help create a safe, well‑resourced and welcoming environment for our staff, students and families.

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven skills in leading the business functions of the College, with strengths in financial management, strategic governance, leadership, and collaborative practice
* Degree qualifications in accounting or finance.
* Involvement in professional associations.
* Capacity for leadership within a school.
* Unless an exemption applies all staff are required to hold a current Working with Children Blue Card or be
eligible to apply.
* Criminal history and bankruptcy check.
* Current drivers licence.
* A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education.
