Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our multidisciplinary team as an Orange Door Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering intake support via phone, within the Orange Door site, and through outreach visits. You will actively manage a caseload, deliver screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to support integrated risk assessment and planning, apply for brokerage on behalf of clients when required, and refer clients to services within the broader service system and provide them information and support.
The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from various organizations to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for individuals and families experiencing or having experienced family violence, as well as those requiring support with the care, development, and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with your ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, will enable you to thrive in this role.
We value diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds.
