We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Hire Controller to join our team in Karratha, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business, supported by an experienced leadership team.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join our team and play a key role in supporting our clients across the mining, construction and industrial services sectors.
In this role, you\'ll oversee the full rental lifecycle, from handling enquiries and preparing quotes to coordinating logistics, managing documentation, and supporting invoicing.
Acting as the focal point between customers, operations, and accounts, you\'ll ensure every hire runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally.
Responsibilities
* Manage incoming hire requests and inquiries from our clients and provide the highest level of customer service.
* Provide hire quotations to our valued clients.
* Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Coordinate transport and logistics requirements in a timely manner to ensure we meet client lead times.
* Set up hire jobs in our project management system Workbench and track and monitor all hire equipment.
* Arrange any repairs and maintenance, cleaning or upgrades to equipment as needed.
* General administration and reception tasks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong industry experience, excellent customer service and organisational skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role as hire controller, asset coordinator or transport coordinator.
* Proficient in scheduling or planning activities.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* You will be required to hold a valid, unrestricted WA Driver's Licence.
* Have full Australian working rights.
