The Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive Business Support Officer (BSO) who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in making a real difference behind the scenes. In this role, you will provide high‐quality operational and strategic support to the Manager Corporate Services and work closely with a supportive Corporate Services Team—including school officers, Information Communication Technology (ICT) staff, library staff, cleaners, and gardeners—to keep our school running smoothly each day.
You will help ensure our resources and processes are professionally managed, enabling staff to focus on teaching and learning. Experience in facilities coordination, finance, and/or human resource practices (ideally in a school setting) is highly desirable. Success in this position will come from strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines with confidence.
This is an opportunity for a flexible, collaborative team member with effective communication skills to collaborate with the school's executive team and contribute to continuous improvement. As BSO, you will support school marketing activities, build positive relationships with families and community stakeholders, and coordinate whole‐school staff relief to ensure continuity of learning.
Equity and Diversity
We are committed to an inclusive and culturally responsive workforce that reflects the diversity in our schools and the Western Australian community. We welcome and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, young people, people of diverse sexualities and genders, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. You can explore our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan 2021‐2025 for more details.
