As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Fulltime AM Supervisor to join our team in Dandenong South. Summary: The Transport Supervisor AM is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the transport department in Dandenong South, ensuring efficient and safe transport services. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of safety, service delivery and compliance with industry regulations, contributing to the overall success of the organisation in the transport sector. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to Ensure daily forklift pre-start checks have been completed Operate forklifts and other machinery safely, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Monitoring the handling of inbound and outbound freight by: Accurately scanning, sorting, and placing items in correct locations. Performing Checks, Weighing, and Cubing (CWC). Loading/unloading safely, efficiently, and damage-free. Blending freight effectively to maximise load revenue. Ensuring compliance with mass and load restraint regulations. Following Chain of Responsibility requirements Verify consignment notes and report any quality issues. Prevent miss-sorts and miss-loads by accurately matching freight and connotes. Promptly report any damage, shortages, or split consignments. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard. Work towards zero incidents or near-misses. Collaborate professionally across all levels of the business. Support team goals and actively contribute to improvement initiatives Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the transport or logistics industry. Strong understanding of transport regulations and safety standards. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A valid forklift license
