Lead and supervise care teams on shift while being supported by experienced RNs and a Clinical Care your leadership capability within one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health care providers.
About The Role
As a Team Leader (EN), you will support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurses in coordinating and supervising care delivery across your designated wing or area.
You will play an integral role in ensuring residents receive safe, respectful and holistic care while guiding care staff to maintain high clinical standards.
This is both a clinical and leadership role, ideal for an EN who enjoys mentoring others while remaining hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
Provide social and emotional support to all residents ensuring that care provision is holistic and person centred.Support the coordination of the care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care managementLead/supervise care on the shift, within their designated wing or area.Perform medicine related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and Calvary policies, procedures for delegation and supervision.
About You
Relevant qualifications:Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with AHPRA Registration to administer medication) High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthinessAn effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writingAbility to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.Current National police checkWorking knowledge of WH&S and Infection ControlA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
